The Big Lie 101: Bin Laden Assassination Story Designed to Generate Fear

They keep up their lies, even at the risk of looking ridiculous. -- Joseph Goebbels, Nazi Minister of Public Enlightenment and Propaganda.

In the midst of the mainstream media propaganda blitz, questions still abound regarding Osama bin Laden and his alleged death. Unfortunately, the majority of Americans are quite willing to believe virtually anything they are told about bin Laden, even if it contradicts what they were told previously. But, while many are busy dancing in the streets at the news of his “death,” others hopefully have some semblance of a long-term (and even short-term) memory.

Actually, Barack Obama’s announcement that Osama bin Laden is dead should not have come as a surprise to anyone equipped with the faculties of basic memory. After all, it was only (approximately) the ninth time bin Laden has been declared dead by high-ranking government officials in the ten years since the 9/11 attacks. Obama was just adding his name to the list.

It should be noted however, that credible reports have been produced suggesting bin Laden has been dead for some time. Indeed, even as far back as shortly after 9/11.

Of the reports, the most reliable information points to the belief that bin Laden has actually been dead since late 2001, having died of what amounts to natural causes as a result of generally bad health and a history of kidney problems. Bin Laden’s deteriorating health, was evident on his many videos. They revealed, at one time, a very thin and weak bin Laden and others showed a man who apparently could not lift his left arm while still other videos showed him appearing bloated and puffy. All of these various appearance indicated the various health issues that bin Laden suffered from.

Indeed, in July of 2001, bin Laden was reported to have been admitted to an American hospital in Dubai where he was treated for kidney problems. While at the hospital, bin Laden was met by a local CIA agent who later foolishly bragged about his contact with bin Laden. These reports came from various sources including French intelligence agencies.

Shortly before 9/11, bin Laden was reported to have been admitted to a Pakistani military hospital with the full knowledge of the Pakistani ISI. This story was even reported by major mainstream news agencies such as CBS.

Yet these are not the only reports that Osama bin Laden was dead long before Obama claims to have assassinated him.

As James Corbett compiled in an excellent article for The Corbett Report entitled, Osama bin Laden Pronounced Dead . . . For the Ninth Time, evidence has repeatedly come to light suggesting that bin Laden has long been dead and that his death has been reported on numerous occasions.

Yet, considering the fact that Osama bin Laden has long existed as the ultimate bogeyman and the Emmanuel Goldstein of the real world, one would be well-advised to question any of these reports.

Within hours after the alleged killing of Osama bin Laden, photos were circulated that were reported to be those taken of bin Laden’s body shortly after he was killed. However, these photos were obviously created by photoshop and were easily proven fake. Not only that, but the photos being used had already been circulating on the web for some time, some even before Obama took office.

This is not surprising since the US government (through an organization that has direct links to the Pentagon) has produced fake bin Laden videos and audio recordings in the past.  Indeed, this should call all of the reported appearances of bin Laden in to question.

Another giant red flag in this whole situation is that the body of Osama bin Laden has allegedly been buried at sea under the ridiculous justification of trying to respect for Muslim culture which requires that a person be buried within 24 hours of their death. I refer to this as “ridiculous” because the idea that the United States military is in the business of burying every person they kill in accordance with local customs is exactly that -- ridiculous.

The United States has murdered over a 1.5 million people in our current war theatres. Is it now safe to assume that each and every one of them were buried within 24 hours? Or is that an honor only reserved for the man who, according to the government, killed 3,000 people in New York and initiated the need for a war on terrorism? Keep in mind, when Uday and Qusay Hussein were killed, the photos were plastered all over the television screen endlessly. There were no concerns for Muslim culture then.  That it should matter now
insults the intelligence of a five-year old.

Indeed, as I read the “buried at sea” story I could not help but be reminded of the removal of debris from the World Trade Center. If the story were true, then it seems the US government would take every opportunity to confirm the identity of the most wanted man in America. Considering the recent debate over the authenticity of Obama’s birth certificate, would it not be wise to thoroughly cite and prove any information being released?

Still, considering Osama bin Laden’s usefulness as a ready-made excuse for all things military and police state, one must wonder what agenda is behind the claim of his death. Has bin Laden run his course as the bogeyman? Are we in need of a new false flag attack with a new enemy that will frighten us into giving the small remnant of our liberties away in hopes for security? Will bin Laden’s death be used as an excuse to stage a series of false flag attacks (or one big one) blamed on bin Laden’s supporters under the cover of revenge?

Indeed, the fear of revenge and reprisal are already being circulated in the mainstream media, priming the minds of the public to expect another attack.

In the end, fear is the ultimate objective. Of this there is no doubt. However, one must also wonder if the character of Osama bin Laden has simply outlived its usefulness. Considering the dwindling attention span of the general population, it is not hard to imagine that it has.

Osama Bin Laden Pronounced Dead…For the Ninth Time

James Corbett, Contributing Writer
When Obama pronounced Osama Bin Laden dead in a televised announcement heard round the world last night, he was at least the ninth major head of state or high-ranking government official to have done so.
Given Bin Laden’s documented kidney problems and consequent need for dialysis, government officials, heads of state and counterterrorism experts have repeatedly opined that Osama Bin Laden has in fact been dead for some time. These assertions are based on Bin Laden’s failing health in late 2001 and visible signs of his deteriorating condition, as well as actual reports of his death from the same time frame.
In July of 2001, Osama Bin Laden was flown to the American Hospital in Dubai for kidney treatment. According to French intelligence sources, he was there met by the local CIA attache. When the agent bragged about his encounter to friends later, he was promptly recalled to Washington.

On the eve of September 11, Osama Bin Laden was staying in a Pakistani military hospital under the watchful eye of Pakistan’s ISI, the Pakistani equivalent of the CIA with deep ties to the American intelligence community.

In October 2001, Bin Laden appeared in a videotape wearing army fatigues and Islamic headdress, looking visibly pale and gaunt. In December of 2001, another videotape was released, this time showing a seriously ill Bin Laden who was seemingly unable to move his left arm.

Then on December 26, 2001, Fox News reported on a Pakistan Observer story that the Afghan Taliban had officially pronounced Osama Bin Laden dead earlier that month. According to the report, he was buried less than 24 hours later in an unmarked grave in accordance with Wahabbist Sunni practices.
What followed was a string of pronouncements from officials affirming what was already obvious: supposedly living in caves and bunkers in the mountainous pass between Afghanistan and Pakistan, Osama would have been deprived of the dialysis equipment that he required to live.
On January 18, 2002, Pakistani President Pervez Musharraf announced quite bluntly: “I think now, frankly, he is dead.”

On July 17, 2002, the then-head of counterterrorism at the FBI, Dale Watson, told a conference of law enforcement officials that “I  personally think he [Bin Laden] is probably not with us anymore,” before carefully adding that “I have no evidence to support that.”

In October 2002, Afghan President Hamid Karzai told CNN that “I would come to believe that [Bin Laden] probably is dead.”

In November 2005, Senator Harry Reid revealed that he was told Osama may have died in the Pakistani earthquake of October that year.

In September 2006, French intelligence leaked a report suggesting Osama had died in Pakistan.

Osama Bin Laden in December 2001
On November 2, 2007, former Pakistani Prime Minister Benazir Bhutto told Al-Jazeera’s David Frost that Omar Sheikh had killed Osama Bin Laden.
In March 2009, former US foreign intelligence officer and professor of international relations at Boston University Angelo Codevilla stated: “All the evidence suggests Elvis Presley is more alive today than Osama Bin Laden.”
In May 2009, Pakistani President Asif Ali Zardari confirmed that his “counterparts in the American intelligence agencies” hadn’t heard anything from Bin Laden in seven years and confirmed “I don’t think he’s alive.”
Now in 2011, President Obama has added himself to the mix of people in positions of authority who have pronounced Osama Bin Laden dead. Some might charge that none of the previous reports had any credibility, but as it is now emerging that Osama’s body was buried at sea less than 12 hours after his death with no opportunity for any independent corroboration of his identity, the same question of credibility has to be leveled at this latest charge. To this point, the only evidence we have been provided that Osama Bin Laden was killed yesterday are some images on tv of a burning compound and the word of the man currently occupying the oval office.
But given that an informed consensus has formed around the opinion that Bin Laden died long ago due to kidney failure, will the people of America hold their President to the highest standard in presenting evidence that the person killed was actually Osama Bin Laden, and that he actually died in the way described, or will this pronouncement go unquestioned like so many other deaths in the never ending war of terror?

Stay tuned for more on this story as it develops…

Osama Bin Laden: Not an Issue

Globalists cartoonishly pull rabbit from hat in desperate act of misdirection.

Tony Cartalucci, Contributing Writer
Activist Post

Bangkok, Thailand May 2, 2011 - We were knowingly told verified lies to invade and occupy Iraq. We were lied to entirely about the "spontaneous" "Arab Spring" later admitted to by the US State Department as a preplanned operation years in the making. We were knowingly told verified lies regarding Libya to engage in military operations in North Africa and we are currently being told verified lies about US-fueled uprisings in Syria.

Now we are told the notoriously deceptive CIA has "killed" "Osama Bin Laden" in Pakistan. This is the same CIA that planned to create fake videos of Saddam depicting him as a homosexual, and actually did make fake videos of Osama Bin Laden depicting him drinking liquor and consorting with boys. Washington Post's "CIA unit's wacky idea: Depict Saddam as gay," stated, "The agency actually did make a video purporting to show Osama bin Laden and his cronies sitting around a campfire swigging bottles of liquor and savoring their conquests with boys, one of the former CIA officers recalled, chuckling at the memory. The actors were drawn from “some of us darker-skinned employees,” he said."

Is there any reason at all for us to suddenly start believing our degenerate criminal government now, in light of their habitual, continuous, murderous campaign of lies and deception directed at both the American people and the world as a whole? The answer is not only unequivocally "no," but we must try to understand why such a "rabbit" has been pulled from the globalists' hat at this point of time. It smacks of almost cartoonish desperation as the US Dollar is crashing and the world's opinion turns sharply against an overtly aggressive NATO carrying out a Hitlerian campaign of military invasion in North Africa.

We must continue to focus on real issues. Not birth certificates of a man who has not made a single decision or spoken a single word of his own since taking office, and not the alleged death of the already long dead Osama Bin Laden who, to this day, has had zero evidence linking him to the attacks of 9/11. 9/11 was an inside job, the subsequent wars were built on a fraudulent foundation of malicious lies - and as Americans celebrate in the streets over the death of this ultimate bogeyman, they seem oblivious to the fact that US air support is aiding and abetting real, admitted terrorists in Libya's east who undeniably have American blood staining their hands.

Let us quickly sweep this stunt under the rug of irrelevancy where it belongs, and continue undermining the efforts of this degenerate empire as we remove and replace their strangling, parasitic tentacles. Let us stand vigilant against false flag attacks fashioned as "acts of retribution" for the now allegedly dead, former CIA agent Osama Bin Laden. It is time Americans seize back their destiny and stop living their lives as a series of knee-jerk reactions to infantile propaganda and the constant parade of manufactured threats brought before us.

US drops charges against bin Laden

NEW YORK (AFP) - Federal prosecutors dropped charges against Osama bin Laden from attacks spanning more than a decade, officials said in court papers filed in US District Court in New York Friday.

Charges included more than 200 counts of criminal activity such as murder, conspiracy to use weapons of mass destruction against civilians and more.

US District Judge Lewis Kaplan approved the request, which is a common procedure when the defendant dies.

The decision applies to charges originally filed in June 1998, which were brought against bin Laden for supporting the ambush that killed 18 US soldiers during an attack in Somalia in 1993.

Those charges were later revised to include the bombings of American embassies in Kenya and Tanzania in 1998 and other terrorist activities.

The court papers filed on Friday included a statement from a Justice Department official declaring detailed evidence that bin Laden was killed by US forces in a raid on May 1 in Pakistan.

The statement said DNA samples, facial recognition analysis and the confirmation of one of bin Laden's wives all confirmed the identity of the al-Qaeda leader.

"These tests confirmed that the sample from the Abbottabad raid genetically matched the derived comprehensive DNA profile" for bind Laden, the official wrote in the statement. "The possibility of a mistaken identification is approximately one in 11.8 quadrillion."
